My niece will be celebrating her 3rd birthday this weekend (woo hoo!!) and I wanted to send something fun this time around. In case you haven’t noticed, I LOVE making things and I love birthday parties. Since she lives so far away, I figured I’d send the party to her. I picked up the small paint pail from Jo-Ann Fabrics when I was out the other day. I figured it would be a great idea to pack it full of party goods for her to share with her brothers. First I pulled out my Cricut and began to personalize the pail.
I used the Hello Kitty Greetings cartridge for the kitty image and Don Juan cartridge for the font. After applying the vinyl, I stuffed the pail to the max with cupcake toppers, pink balloons, noise makers, hair bows, nail polish, and confetti.
As far as filling it, the possibilities were endless. Once it’s all full, I decorated the outside with a simple pink polka dot ribbon remnant and a Hello Kitty gift tag. After completing the pail, I wish that I had purchased the bigger one! I’ll know next time. I can’t wait to hear all about the party.
